In 1997, Howard Rennell was a founding partner of The Windham Group, and he has served as President since its founding.
Prior to the formation of the Windham Group, Mr. Rennell was the New York Branch Manager and Senior Vice President of ING Securities, Futures, and Options from 1994 to 1997. He was responsible for the establishment of that firm's sales efforts in energy, cotton, coffee, sugar, and metals as well as oversight of clearing operations for all of that firm's New York based futures markets.
Before joining ING, Mr. Rennell was with Cargill Investor Services for nearly 13 years, where he was responsible for the worldwide management of their energy futures and options activities. These activities include oversight of their market analysis, desk and floor execution services, as well as employee training and customer quality assurance program.
Mr. Rennell also has been active in exchange related activities. He has served on the NYMEX Marketing Committee and on the Electricity Market Advisory Committee. He was also a member of the NYMEX Clearing Committee and its FCM Advisory Community, as well as a member of the New York Cotton Exchange's New Product Development Committee, before its purchase by the Intercontinental Exchange.
Throughout his commodity career, Mr. Rennell has been particularly active in working individually with clients in striving to understand and analyze their unique risk management needs, and in attempting to structure and evaluate a risk management program that aims to minimize their market exposures. |
